Tax season has begun anew!  ACA/ObamaCare's Individual Mandate took effect Jan 2014. Be prepared to answer more questions from your tax preparer. More of you should be receiving Form 1095 this year. However, the latest legislation extended the deadline for business until March 31st to get those forms out.

The IRS has increased the mileage rates!

As of July 1, 2011, the IRS increased the business mileage rate from 51c/mile to 55.5c/mile. The medical/moving rate also increased: from 19c/mile to 23.5c/mile. Click here to view the IRS notice.
